The Distributed Systems Group @ ETH Zurich, led by Prof. Friedemann Mattern, was active from 1999 to 2020. It conducted research in the broad fields of Distributed Computing and Ubiquitous Computing, focusing on areas such as the Internet of Things, smart energy, sensor networks, mobile computing, augmented reality, and related domains.
