I am a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Genova. I got my bachelor and master degree in Computer Science from the same university, respectively in September 2007 and October 2008. Between March and June 2008, I have been a visiting student at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Maryland, where I have been working on my master thesis under the supervision of Professor Hanan Samet. I started my PhD in 2008 in the University of Genova, advised by Professor Enrico Puppo. I spent the fall and winter of 2010 visiting the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences in New York University, collaborating with Professor Denis Zorin and Professor Olga Sorkine. Currently, I am visiting the Interactive Geometry Lab at ETH Zurich, working under the supervision of Professor Olga Sorkine. My research interests are in geometric modeling, computer graphics and computational photography. You can see my publications here. My cv is available here.
