Teaching Opportunities for Students

Overview

Welcome to the student assistant information page!

The assistant coordination office oversees a pool of computer science students who wish to work as student assistants at the Department of Computer Science. At the beginning of every term, this database allows us to match fields of interest of students with the demand for student assistants within the department.

CS students nearing completion of their studies are well qualified for what is expected of a student assistant. Openings can be found in all kinds of areas, so we should be able to find something that best matches your interests.

Further information concerning our new participation and hiring rules can be found below. You can enter your profile into the student assistant pool and list your interests here.

Because there is usually a high number of student assistances that are arranged directly with the lecturers - without the help of our pool -, we recommend contacting the lecturers directly. We would like to ask all students who have already reached an agreement with a lecturer to also enlist themselves in our database, with an according remark. Although it is the lecturer who decides about student assistance, a student assistance is met only after the according employment has been established by Ms. Hasler (RZ F 18).
